Waterus (Water based concrete worktop sealer)

Coverage

1.42 litres covers 13.4m².

Mixing

• Ratio: 2A : 1B

• Dilute with 25%–50% water

  • 25% = minimum dilution

  • 50% = maximum dilution

Application

• Use a nap roller (not foam).

• Apply sealer wet and cover the entire surface thoroughly.

• Dip the roller and immediately go back over the surface while it’s still saturated.

  • This is effectively two coats applied back-to-back and should take only a couple of minutes.

• Damp excess sealer out of the roller and back roll lightly.

  • Don’t over-roll—just flatten the sealer and remove bubbles or puddles.

  • The sealer will self-level and flatten as it dries. Lines will disappear as it shrinks.

• After 15 minutes, repeat the process for the next application.

Number of Applications

• 2 applications: light-traffic projects

• 3 applications: standard use (most countertops)

• 4 applications: optional, but test on a sample piece first
